ATHLETIC-ACADEMIC or other SCHOLARSHIPS - Check with your guidance counselor
for a list of Scholarship Awards from various organizations that you can apply
for towards your college education that are based on your sport.
Example: Lee Brennan Scholarship
ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP awards should be investigated by contacting the Diving coach of school of your choice, sending a letter asking for information on their diving program and including a video tape of your dives. Even if scholarships are not available, you will benefit by participating in a Diving Program at college through early enrollment and advance registration for classes each year.
HIGH SCHOOL Junior's should investigate the universities and colleges early
and notify them personally of their interest to be included in recruiting
trips that may be available for the universities from September through November.
Check out NCAA Recruiting policies and eligibility
requirements. Most colleges have a direct link to their athletic departments/swim/diving
coaches.
